Holmes Fire Company is one of six volunteer fire companies that serve Ridley Township. We are located about five miles south of Philadelphia. Our Company operates utilizing an engine, squrt, ladder, light rescue, and an ambulance. At Holmes Fire Company, we have about 35 active members who respond day and night in the event of emergencies.

VEHICLE OVERTURNED WITH EXTRICATION Saturday, June 13, 2009 - The company was dispatched at 03:14 hours for the overturned vehicle with entrapment in front of 635 Amosland Rd. The victim self-extricated. The crew stood by until the vehicle was uprighted and helped with the clean up.

HAND TOOL DRILL AT STATION 05 Saturday, June 13, 2009 - The company participated in a hand tool rescue drill at Station 05.

SPECIAL RIT DRILL AT VALUE CITY Thursday, June 11, 2009 - The company participated in a large area RIT drill at the Value City in Springfield. Also participating in the drill was companies 44, 03, and 08. The company was in service for 3 1/2 hours.

COVER ASSIST TO COMPANY 69 Saturday, June 6, 2009 - The company sent a crew with the Squrt to cover Engine 69 during their company BBQ. The crew stood by with a truck crew from company 16 and was in service for 6 hours.

KEDRON YOUTH ASSOCIATION ANNUAL PARADE Saturday, June 6, 2009 - The company assisted with the annual parade for the KYA.

Nelson BBQ Fundraiser Tuesday, May 26, 2009 - On Saturday 6-20-09, the fire company will be having a BBQ Fund Raiser. The event will start at 11:00 hours and run until the meals are sold out. All meals include either chicken or ribs, potato salad, or macaroni salad, roll and a drink. Chicken Dinners are $7.00 and Rib Dinners are $12.00. for additional information, call the firehouse at 610-461-4288.

RIT Assist to Company 16 Monday, May 11, 2009 - The company was dispatched at 19:07 to 421 South Lansdowne Ave , Yeadon for the building fire. Rescue 43 responded as the 3rd due RIT on a 2 alarm building fire. The company was in service for 4 hours and 15 min.

Accident - Holmes Rd and East Macdade Blvd Tuesday, May 5, 2009 - On 5-4-09 at 16:41 hours, the company was dispatched for debris on the highway. The company was in service for 19 minutes

Assist to company 04 Tuesday, May 5, 2009 - The company was dispatched for the RIT assist to company 04 at  313 Darby Terrace at 12:00 on 5-1-09. The crew assisted with RIT and clean up. In service time was 2 hours and 20 minutes

Building assist to company 18 Tuesday, April 28, 2009 - at 18:03 on Friday 4-24-09, the company was dispatched to 131 E Macdade Blvd the TD Bank for the building fire. The company assisted with venitlation and was in service for 36 minutes
